Individual Therapy

Personal one-on-one counseling allows the opportunity to explore and heal past and present issues. This type of counseling provides you a safe-haven to focus on any important issues or concerns. Typical issues that clients seek help for in individual counseling include anxiety, stress, emotion dysregulation, depression, grief and loss, childhood traumas, difficulties in relationships, and life transitions. At the beginning of this process, we establish goals for what you wish to accomplish in counseling, and develop a plan for how to achieve your goals. I believe you are the expert on yourself. Counseling provides tools and support to help you heal, build resiliency, gain more adaptive coping skills, and ultimately create a happier, healthier life.
